Project Development Guide
How?
To be honest, there are exceptions to everything. It is perhaps possible to find a private developer or overseas company who is easy to work with and produces proper work in open source. Often times that isn’t the case but the definitive line is drawn when we talk about the how.
How will the project be developed?
Plonka has the 3 skill sets necessary to bring any project to life. Our three areas of expertise are design, web applications and strategic marketing. Graphic design without good marketing is missing the mark. Amazing programming without an intelligent user interface is ineffective. Without a great strategy from the beginning, the project may fail from lack of direction or a poor concept. Each skill leans on the other to ensure success.
Our team utilizes all the information possible to create great projects. For example, when designing our sites we use “primary path user design” which is the idea that each web page should have one basic desired user action. With that in mind we build each page to motivate users to perform that action whether it’s to buy the product or contact someone and setup the user interface to make that action as easy as possible. Primary path design is more than a visually stunning page. It’s a page that is developed and tested to encourage behavior. The dazzling graphic elements are another layer. Of course we judicially use eye candy as to not overwhelm and always add value by making pages “stickier”. We have programming capabilities that allow us to make dreams come true. Whether you want multilingual content, costing calculators, content management or getting databases to talk to each other, we have the know how. In short, we can connect anything to the web.
